The pool & spa will be shut down during maintenance weeks for repairs. Pool shut down starting Nov. 30 for one week, but it could take longer. There is no guarantee it will only take one week. We hope it is quick, but if there are cracks that need repair, it might take longer. Once the pool is open then we plan to shut down the spa for repairs. We are trying to keep one open so guests are not without everything. Maintenance weeks are week 48, 49, 50

Weather is warm and humid. The fishing is great right now. Hurricane Delta should not bother us, so we are in for warm and sunny days ahead. :)
Our next board meeting is November 20th. Probably another Zoom meeting. We will let everyone know, as soon as we know.

We had quite a bit of rain and it was breezy these past few days when tropical storm Sally went by us. But no damage here. Sanibel will dry out. I bet the shelling is GREAT out there now. We have several units up for rent, give Lynn a call now before all the shells are gone!

i’ve been out to the resort Saturday and Sunday
The standard unit that contained units 110-115 and 210-216 that was pushed out onto EGulf Dr has already been demolished by the city/county clean up crews. They had to clear the road to open it up
I have called to cancel services we had there.
This storm was different than hurricane Charley. Charley was nothing compared to this one.
Everyone is doing their best to figure out what to do next. We wait for insurance people, we wait for contractors, we wait to see what and when we can do things. It doesn’t do any good to try and demand people call us back or put us first on the list.
We have been out to Surfrider to collect any tools, plumbing, electrical, etc. supplies that are good. We will put items in a storage unit for now until we hear what Surfrider will do. It won’t be a big unit, since most everything has been destroyed.
The Pool, spa and paved patio area still have that familiar feel.
